TERMS & CONDITIONS / HOUSE RULES

These Rules & Regulations (“Rules”) form part of the Beach House Cowork Member Services Agreement (“Agreement”). By using the space, Members agree to comply with these Rules at all times.

1. Use of Space & Reservations
Members may reserve available desks, offices, conference rooms, and phone booths on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and their membership plan. Reserved spaces that are not used may be released to other members.
Unused or missed reservations are not guaranteed and may not be credited or rolled over.

 

2. Membership, Guests & Capacity
Membership access is limited to the individual(s) listed on the membership plan.
   •    Occasional guests are permitted for short visits, provided they do not disrupt the workspace.

   •    Guests may not use the space as a substitute for membership.

   •    Beach House Cowork reserves the right to deny access or charge additional fees if guest usage becomes excessive or inconsistent with the spirit of coworking.


 

3. Noise & Professional Environment
Members must maintain a professional, respectful noise level at all times.
   •    Phone calls and meetings should be taken in phone booths or designated areas.

   •    Loud conversations, speakerphone use, or disruptive behavior are not permitted.

   •    Members and guests must conduct themselves in a businesslike manner.

Beach House Cowork reserves the right to address or remove disruptive activity at its discretion.

 

4. Conference Rooms & Offices
Conference rooms and private offices are subject to availability and monthly usage limits, where applicable.
   •    Time does not roll over month to month.

   •    Spaces must be left clean and in the condition they were found.

   •    Any damage or excessive cleaning required may be charged to the Member.


 

5. Electrical & Internet Use
Electricity and internet are provided for standard office use only (e.g., laptops, monitors, phones).
Members may not:
   •    Run servers, mining equipment, or excessive power loads

   •    Download or distribute illegal, pirated, or explicit content

   •    Use the network for unlawful or inappropriate purposes


 

6. Prohibited Uses
Members may not use the space for:
   •    Living, sleeping, or overnight lodging

   •    Illegal, immoral, or hazardous activities

   •    Manufacturing, storage of inventory, or retail operations without approval

   •    Film shoots, photography sessions, or commercial recordings without prior written consent


 

7. Alterations & Personal Property
Members may not alter, paint, drill, affix, or modify walls, furniture, fixtures, or locks without written approval.
Beach House Cowork is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

 

8. Cleanliness & Shared Areas
Members must keep shared areas clean and orderly.
   •    Trash must be disposed of properly.

   •    Food should be covered when transported.

   •    Refrigerators are shared and cleaned regularly; unmarked or expired items may be discarded.


 

9. Animals
Pets are permitted only in accordance with Beach House Cowork’s current pet policy and must never be left unattended. Members are responsible for any damage and waste caused by their animals. Beach House CoWork has the right to deny entry and ban your pet at anytime.

 

10. Safety & Security
Members must:
   •    Lock doors and secure belongings when leaving

   •    Follow posted safety procedures

   •    Promptly report any issues, hazards, damage, leaks, electrical problems, security concerns, or unsafe conditions to staff


 •    Must not let guests in without supervision of the member being there with them

 •    Must never give door and gate code out
Failure to report issues that result in damage may result in liability.

 

11. Conduct & Harassment
Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind is not permitted. Beach House Cowork reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

 

12. Bicycles & Personal Vehicles
Bicycles, scooters, and similar items must be stored only in designated areas. Storage is at the Member’s own risk. Beach House CoWork is not responsible for stollen bicycles or personal vehicles.

 

13. Alcohol, Smoking & Substances
Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are prohibited. Alcohol may be consumed responsibly where permitted and must not interfere with the professional environment.

 

14. Mail & Packages
Mail and packages are accepted for virtual mailbox subscribers and private office members only.
   •    Members must retrieve items promptly.

   •    Beach House Cowork is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged mail.


 

15. Cancellation & Termination
Coworking Memberships
   •    Require 14 days’ notice prior to the last billing cycle

   •    Memberships are not prorated


Private Offices
   •    Require 30 days’ written notice

Failure to provide proper notice may result in additional charges.

 

16. Liability
Beach House Cowork is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to property, except where required by law. Members assume all risks associated with use of the space.

 

17. Changes to Rules
Beach House Cowork may update these Rules as needed to maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. Reasonable notice will be provided.
